About B.Voc
Glocal University came up with B.Voc in response to the UGC's 2016 call to promote studying while working as an alternative to the conventional approach of learning and applying for jobs. It backs the central government's objective of enhancing human resource quality as a key component of the new education policy. B. Vocational programs do not produce incompetent graduates from education factories like toys. Here, professional experience and job expertise are not left up to chance for the pupils. Students begin receiving on-the-job training in the industry vertical in which they intend to graduate as early as their induction.
The course is designed to include 60% work experience and 40% theoretical knowledge, the latter of which students can obtain from the university's affiliated institutions or from their place of employment. B. Vocational courses emphasize practical experience augmented with theoretical knowledge. Students benefit from these courses in two ways. With a graduate degree, individuals who are currently employed can advance their careers by gaining further theoretical knowledge in their field, while those who are still in school are prepared to find greater possibilities once they graduate and get professional experience.
